Went on a Monday thinking that it wouldn't be as busy, well it was. Had to wait, but all the tables were not filled so must have been low on staff. Bc of the wait we started of with and old fashion and a glass of wine. Wine was good but I was disappointed when I told the barkeep easy on the sugar and he told me it was a mix he didn't do anything but add bourbon to it. What!! This nice of a place and we are using mix at the bar smh. Now we got to the table and ordered. Got the ribeye, I'm a pretty decent cook did it for a living for a while, so getting a steak cooked to way I like it better than I do it is difficult. The cut was good and it was cooked very nice. Good job. The service was neither over the top or lacking. Will be back

An absolute staple in Greenville!! The steak is always top notch but my favorite part is the salad bar & baked potato. Looking forward to our next meal at the Peddler.

Okay so some of these reviews didn't get the dessert and it shows. First time visitor and it was delicious. The salad bar was weird for me and gave me the ick but I still tried it. I love the variety of items on the bar. I ordered the salmon and it was delicious. The portions were more than I expected but delicious nonetheless. I was full but still ordered dessert. I got the Chocolate Tuxedo Bombe . OMG IT WAS DELICIOUS. Literally it took everything for me not to consume it all. If you had a bad experience get the dessert you won't be disappointed. The service was great. Super sweet and friendly and attentive. I would absolutely go back for the food and atmosphere.

The ambiance was so unique and a fun experience. The ribeye cut presentation was refreshing since it's gone away in most restaurants since Covid. The prime rib and ribeye were prepared as requested and we really enjoyed the salad bar. Looking forward to sharing this restaurant with my parents when they come to town. I did have a reservation but somehow it was not on their list. Could have been my error but they promptly sat my family of 6 for my birthday celebration.

Best steak in Greenville. Prompt service, great people. The bar is super cool and the bartender makes great cocktails. Low lighting in an old wood and stone building, the smell of steaks cooking on a charcoal grill, what's not to love?

Came here after a very long week of moving into our new home. I'd like the start by saying the bar is by far the coolest spot in the place. Very intimate and dark bar that sends you back in time. Great place to come if you just want to grab a quick cocktail. We were seated within 30 minutes - fast service. Super friendly wait staff and very knowledgeable on the menu. The chef came out and hand cut out ribeyes for us to make sure the marbling was solid for us. Great experience on seeing that! Parmesan Truffle Fries - A must try if it's your first time here. They are crispy and fried beautifully with the light touch of truffle oil and Parmesan shreds! 12 oz Ribeye - Steak was well cooked (medium) and the marbling on it was beautiful. Only reason I'm giving this review 4 stars is because of the flavor. Couldn't put my finger on it but maybe the steak wasn't seasoned enough? Not sure but it was definitely a great steak - I've just had better at the price point. All in all, very nice rustic atmosphere to have a meal with your crew. The salad bar is a nice touch too! If you have room for dessert - go with the Peanut Butter Explosion. The chocolate top layer is firm but the peanut butter underneath creates the velvety smooth finish that pairs absolutely fantastic with the whipped cream and chocolate drizzle.
